Kintsugi Ranch enters master planning

Masterplanning has started at Kintsugi Ranch. The team is Lake Flato on architecture, Farmer D and Co on the agricultural program, Campbell Landscape Architecture on landscape, and Kimley Horn on civil.

The intent is a place where daily life happens close to the land. Where the walk to the garden is shorter than the drive to the store, where the food on the table came from ground you can see, and where the seasons are something you live inside rather than read about.

That kind of immersion is a design outcome, not a marketing claim. It depends on where the homes sit relative to the gardens, how the trails and lanes connect, what stays wild and what gets worked, and whether the infrastructure was built to support a farm or merely to accommodate one.

So the sequencing is deliberate. Soil mapping and water analysis precede the site plan. Density is set by how much open ground we want to hold.
